BL (8) - Using Google Docs/forms. I found this session extremely interesting and beneficial. I was able to make an evaluation form which I use with every group of students I have and is also used by other staff members in my Team. I would have to collate all the information from all the groups for annual statistics. Having a tool as useful as the Google form which will collate all the answers for me is now going to save me a lot of time and also a lot of paper, as I like to do my bit for the environment! I will be using the form with my current group of students and see how well it works... fingers crossed!
BL (7) - Group work on Constructive (individual/social) theory. Elizabeth, Shirley and me put together a powerpoint presentation with video clips made using the webcam and also from Youtube to help explain the meaning of Constructive Theory. I learnt how to change the format of a videoclip using www.mediaconverter.org and also how to upload it to a powerpoint slide. I would normally switch between powerpoint and video clips when doing presentations but now I know how to incorporate the videoclip which will make doing presentations a smoother operation. I also have a better understanding of the Constructive learning theory.

BL (4) - Started working on my resource for LO1. I am using the group that I set up on facebook for my Team of students. I have put the instructions for an activity on the group wall and will get my students to log on to do what was normally a paper based activity. I think this will be easier for my students as they have to access a website to do the activity and having the link ready to use will make it quicker. I have not tried this yet so will let you know how it goes...

BL (3) - Created a delicious account. Found this very useful as I often find that I would use a webpage and forget what it was or not be able to find it again. I also found that I was always saving the webpages in different places and couldn't remember where or what the webpage is about. This would deter me from using them as I found it time consuming trying to find them again. This account is going to make it all so much easier to manage and keep track of everything I use/can use and save time.
Theories: Associative, Constructive (Individual and Social), Situative. Discussed and learnt about the theories and related theories to lesson activities.

BL (2) - Activity 3: making text easier to read! I feel this would benefit all of my learners as they can customise their own work on screen to what they find the easiest to read and work with. I feel this would speed up the time taken for my students when working on computers as for many of them the difficulty is distinguishing one word or line from the next, I think it would also save on paper resources and the time taken to prepare them on my part.

Blended Learning (1) - I got some very useful ideas from my peers on the different uses of ICT in the classroom. I will try to set up a facebook group for my current group of students so I can send them updates, also for them to update on a daily basis for students that may be absent and to help them when filling in their portfolios.
